Paper Millie was founded in 2003 by interior designer Shawna Sheahen. She was looking for a way to stay home with her first child but still indulge her passion for design. After creating adorable monogrammed note card sets for some friends that were hosting her baby shower, a business and a new passion was born.

Whether she gets inspiration from a vintage postcard, a Moorish pattern, or a sweater from the closet of one of her three boys, you can be sure that the colors and designs she uses are always fresh and modern, with a little bit of Southern charm thrown in.

Shawna, her husband Jonathan and boys Silas, Eli and Cooper, live in Nashville, Tennessee. Paper Millie is affectionately named after their former sweet dog Millie, who has since moved on to greener pastures.
